On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Gulf Food Production (Rawa) Factory had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Economy, along with his accompanying delegation, led by His Excellency Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mr. Saleh Majid Al Khulaifi, and Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Maliki, on an official visit aimed at reviewing the operations and production lines of the factory.

The delegation was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the factory, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Kuwari, who warmly welcomed the guests and accompanied them on a comprehensive tour of the facility. During the visit, a detailed overview of the manufacturing processes and the modern technologies employed was presented, in addition to highlighting the quality and food safety standards strictly followed across all stages of production.

As part of the visit, His Excellency the Minister also inspected the strategic storage facilities of the factory and was briefed on its capacity to meet the local market’s demand for essential food products under various circumstances. His Excellency expressed his satisfaction with the factory’s preparedness and the efficiency of its logistical and storage capabilities, which play a vital role in supporting national food security.

This visit reflects the Ministry of Economy’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local industrial sector and enhancing the contribution of national factories in achieving the country’s food security goals. His Excellency praised the advanced level of operations at the factory and commended the efforts of the national workforce managing production with high levels of professionalism and efficiency.

For his part, CEO Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Kuwari expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit of His Excellency the Minister and the accompanying delegation, affirming that such visits serve as a strong motivation to continue improving performance and strengthening the quality of national products in alignment with the country’s strategic industrial and food security vision.
